Sausage Party Foodtopia's Unique Promotional CampaignIn July 2024, Sausage Party Foodtopia premiered on Amazon Prime Video, and we were tasked with crafting a bold and memorable promotional campaign. Drawing inspiration from the film's premise—animated food items with consciousness—we developed a humorous and thought-provoking movement to protest the consumption of hot dogs, emphasizing the idea that "hot dogs have feelings too."
Our campaign included high-impact activations at iconic events. Highlights included infiltrating the Exploding Confetti Hotdog Exhibit in New York Time square, giving away free hotdogs and staging a playful protest at Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest. At Nathan's, we hired a flash mob of performers dressed as hot dogs to hilariously advocate for their "rights," capturing attention and sparking laughter from spectators and media alike.
This tongue-in-cheek approach not only generated buzz but also perfectly aligned with the film's irreverent humor and unique perspective.
