Dexter is a renowned television series following a forensic crime scene analyst who secretly leads a double life as a vigilante serial killer. In this project, I reimagined the title sequence by integrating motion, typography, and color. The final design effectively captures the duality of Dexter’s character through a dynamic interplay between restrained and bold typography. Gradual color transitions evoke the dark shadows of his hidden life, while red circular accents subtly hint at his murderous impulses.
Derek Yaniger is a celebrated American artist renowned for his work on Cartoon Network and Marvel comic books. His art combines a modern sensibility with the clean, distinctive lines of mid-century modern illustration. This project aims to design a dynamic motion poster for his upcoming speaking event, capturing his unique visual style while exploring its potential when translated into movement.
